Hi! I am Yruwsha. I was 12 when my sister-in-law started Jog My Dog in 2014 while she was in university. Because it was family owned, I started working with dogs from such a young age. Since then, Jog My Dog has become one of the biggest pet service companies in Lethbridge. May 2024 Amanda said to me, "I think I want to sell the company, I can't keep up with my family life, teaching, and the business." As an aspiring entrepreneur and #girlboss, I immediately jumped on this opportunity. "how can I buy it from you?" I said within 2 days of her bringing it up.

I lived in Calgary for 4 years doing Jog My Dog administration remotely for 2. Since becoming owner in October 2024 I've moved to Lethbridge and working 2 jobs plus running Jog My Dog. I love staying busy and find such a thrill in incorporating my enthusiastic, spunky Gen Z energy into Jog My Dog. We don't just sell pet services. We also sell a community of pet lovers, fun, fantastical dog-centred events, and a personable, stream-lined booking process.

I hire the most enthusiastic pet lovers in Lethbridge whose core values align with mine. At Jog My Dog, we believe dogs are babies. We believe in positive reinforcement, open communication, trust, kindness, and care; And putting emojis in "professional" texts :P

Staff undergo 5-day training programs covering healthy play techniques, training techniques, pet first aid and how to break up dog fights effectively.

We send report cards after every service so you can feel assured your pets are getting the love they deserve.

We value our community relationships and enjoy staying up to date with your lives, your pets lives and events in the community. Our centralized phone app allows you to contact any team-member from one number, allowing for real connections, and easy for everyone to stay on the same page.
