Hi! I am Yruwsha, the owner of Jog My Dog! Dog lover, plant mama, horse rider, nature lover, and aunty to 6!

I was 12 when my sister-in-law started Jog My Dog in 2014. Because it was family owned, I started working with dogs from such a young age. Amanda, my sister-in-law (the founder!) always included me in staff training events, promotional events and just around the company in general. I was always happy to hang with puppies, and make $10!! Since then, Jog My Dog has become one of the most trusted pet service companies in Lethbridge.

May 2024 Amanda said to me, "I think I want to sell the company, I can't keep up with my family life, teaching, and the business." As an aspiring entrepreneur, dog lover and #girlboss, I immediately jumped on this opportunity. "how can I buy it from you?"

The most recent 4 years, I lived in Calgary doing Jog My Dog administration remotely, among 2 other jobs, one being teaching aesthetics and makeup artistry.

Since becoming owner in October 2024 I've moved to Lethbridge, been running Jog My Dog full-time as well as doing other part-time work. I love staying busy, and find such a thrill in incorporating my enthusiastic, spunky Gen Z energy into Jog My Dog. I quickly threw myself into every role Jog My Dog has, to perfect and understand how Amanda has upheld such a spectacular system in Lethbridge. I was doing all pet services- dog walking, pet sitting, poopscoops and the administration work. I have developed a keen understanding of what is essential for Jog My Dog dog walkers and pet sitters allowing me to hire the best team members, just like Amanda.

I have a team of 7 lovely women, between all of us, we're sure to have you covered. Now, I do dog-walking twice a week and some drop-ins. This allows me to always stay involved with the different roles of Jog My Dog and continually learn how I can better support my team. I hire the most enthusiastic pet carers in Lethbridge, whose core values align with mine. At Jog My Dog, we strive for professional, excellent, and loving pet-care. When choosing team members I look for positive attitudes, adaptability, integrity, trustworthiness, kindness and gentleness. We believe in positive reinforcement, streamlined pet-care, fun, and adapting to individual training and pet-care needs.

SAFETY

Your dog is promised the highest standard of care and protection when in our hands. We are insured and Pet First Aid Certified. Staff have record checks, home checks and clean driving records for the Pawty-Bus.

We believe in quality of care. That means quality products and quality staff. Our treats are all organic, raw and freeze dried with minimal ingredients to ensure your dogs health. Staff undergo 5-day training programs covering healthy play techniques, training techniques, pet first aid and how to break up dog fights effectively.

All of us love animals and we always ensure cats go with cat-lovers, dogs go with dog-lovers. We know how important it is to feel like your fur-baby is loved, just like you love them, and that's exactly what we do. We send report cards after every service so you can feel assured your pets are getting the love they deserve.

COMMUNICATION

Our centralized phone app allows you to contact any team-member or Yruwsha, from one number, allowing for real connections, and minimal mis-communications. We are always there for your questions, or if you need help.
